Here’s Your Chance To See Ducati’s DesertX Before It Hits Showrooms

Be one of the first to get an exclusive look at Ducati’s most dirt-worthy model yet!

Published on 02.04.2022

With production of the DesertX well underway and arrival in North American dealerships set for this Summer, Ducati is taking its new adventure bike on a tour across the U.S. Each “Ready 4 Red” tour stop gives guests an exclusive, up-close preview of the much-anticipated machine during an entertaining evening experience that will also showcase other upcoming models. Meet the Ducati North America team to ask any questions you’ve been itching to ask, all while enjoying antipasti, refreshments, and music.

Starting this week, the ‘Ready 4 Red’ tour is set to span about 2 months and cover 21 cities giving fans plenty of chances to enjoy this unique opportunity. During each stop the Ducati team will give guests an exclusive presentation of the new 2022 models, before they arrive on dealer showroom floors, with the star of the show being the DesertX. The highly-anticipated machine is Ducati’s contemporary interpretation of the iconic Rally Bikes that competed during the golden age of the Paris-Dakar and is their most dirt-worthy model released yet.

At the heart of the DesertX is a 937 cc liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° Desmodromic valvetrain engine delivering 110 hp and 68 lb-ft or torque. The machine features 9.1 inches of suspension travel in front and 8.7 inches in the rear, along with a 21”/18” tubeless spoked wheel combo. And there’s ample ground clearance too with 9.8 inches on tap. As a unique feature, the bike will have an optional rear tank (available as an accessory) for a total of 7.7 gallons (29 l). And as with any Ducati, the DesertX also comes with an array of premium technological features.
