KTM Announces Nationwide Demo Ride Tour for 2019 Lineup
Here's Your Chance to Test Ride KTM's 2019 Adventure Models.
KTM North America has announced its nationwide Ride Orange Street Demo Tour for 2019, giving U.S. consumers more opportunities than ever before to get up close and personal with KTM’s versatile lineup of Street models.
Riders who take part in the KTM Ride Orange Street Demo program will ride KTM’s 2019 Street model range on pre-planned routes that navigate through some of the best roads in the country. KTM’s Naked and Adventure lineup will be available for demo, including the 1090 Adventure R, 1290 Adventure R, 1290 Adventure S and a range of Duke models. The all-new 790 Adventure will also be available for demo starting around April/May.
The 2019 Ride Orange Street Demo Tour schedule will visit more markets than ever before, making stops across the nation with participating KTM dealers, as well as some of the largest motorcycle events in the country. Those events include the prestigious U.S. MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Daytona Bike Week, Americade, Sturgis, AMA Bike Nights, the KTM ADVENTURE Rider Rally and the Barber Vintage Festival.
Participants in the Ride Orange Demo Program will receive a $500 Ride Orange VIP voucher to be used when buying any full-size KTM (125cc and up) motorcycle, as well as KTM PowerParts, PowerWear and SpareParts items. Riders must also be 25 years or older for motorcycles 690cc and above; and 21 years or older for 390cc machines. Participants 21 to 24 years old can ONLY ride 390cc motorcycles. Experienced riders only (no beginners).
The Ride Orange Street Demo Tour is set to kick off Saturday, Feb. 16 at KTM’s North American Headquarters in Murrieta, California for an open house event. In addition to demo rides, there will be coffee and snacks provided, as well as the opportunity to tour KTM’s Media and Motorsports shops.

The email address given for ktm bounces as of today 2/11/2019
Hey Hogges, not sure if KTM is experiencing a temporary glitch on their end. If their email bounces, try connecting with the local participating dealer.
I know you’re not KTM, but any idea how to figure out which are “participating dealers”? I tried to pull up the event details pdf for the one I’m interested in going to (May 4 @ Bandimere Speedway / Denver) but the link’s dead. Is any KTM dealer a participating dealer? Really just trying to figure out if I need to sign up for the event or if I can just show up. Thanks!
Seems like marketing jumped the gun on issuing a press release before everyone else was ready. This never happens 🙂
Hey Brian and Hogges, we’ve reached out to KTM and they said they are working on getting the email events@ktmusa.com fixed. In the meantime, they said to contact ktmmarketing@ktmnorthamerica.com for questions.
We’ll report back if we get any other updates. Cheers!
Awesome, thanks a lot for running interference for KTM NA!
No problem. They also just let us know their IT department has fixed the issue with the events@ktmusa.com email account. HQ in Austria has been working on the PDF download issue. While the download is being repaired they can handle all inquiries or questions at the events email account.
KTM should also tell folks that the $500 voucher is only good for 30 days. I purchased 2 new bikes last year and since it wasn’t within the 30 day window I received NADA. I shouldn’t have had to call KTM USA to find this out.
This KTM Demo program is the most poorly run demo program I have ever seen. The website doesn’t list actual location addresses for the demos, nor does the website list which KTM dealer will be associated with the demo. It’s so poorly done I have decided not to buy the new KTM I have been seriously considering. KTM USA is a hot mess, run and staffed by incompetents.
