Leatt Launches 4.5 HydraDri Enduro Boot With Waterproof Membrane

Enduro boot protection with wet weather resistance.

Published on 04.03.2023

Off-road gear maker Leatt has expanded their range of technical gear with a new enduro boot model designed to keep your feet dry in wet conditions. The new HydraDri boots are part of the brand’s mid-range priced 4.5 series and feature the company’s in-house developed HydraDriEvo membrane.

According to Leatt the 4.5 HydraDri inner liner is fully waterproof, tested to surpass 20,000 mm of waterproofness which allows it to easily withstand heavy rain and snow under high pressure. To further prevent the ingress of water, the top of the boot is sealed using a tapered neoprene collar. As well as not allowing water in, the HydraDriEvo membrane allows sweat and moisture from your body out to help keep you cool.

The 4.5 HydraDri boot is also designed for optimum comfort and feel, while protecting your feet from serious injuries on the trail. One of the boot’s highlights, which is intended to ensure a secure fit, is the SlideLock. This system slides only one way then auto-locks, making the boots easy to fasten. The SlideLock system is further reinforced with strong polymer composite buckles, an over-lock system, and a stainless-steel base.

Grip and feel are other key factors for any Moto Boot and, according to Leatt, the 4.5 has it covered with the inside of the boot using a flat rubber surface that lets you hold on tight. Another great feature is the low-profile toe-box that makes it easy to get your foot under the shifter, even with new boots.  What’s more, the ankle of the boot is designed to provide significant heel grip, offering you more stability when riding on the toes or balls of your feet.

The Jonny Walker developed Enduro sole features DualZone hardness, which means that the middle of the sole is harder, where the pegs are for durability and comfort, but the edges of the sole are softer for ease of movement. The sole also features an extended foot peg riding zone for arch and on-the-toes riding styles plus, the shank is reinforced with steel and CE certified for the safety of your feet.

The 4.5 HyDraDri Moto Boots are available in Cactus and Graphene colors with an MSRP of $389.99 USD. For more information visit leatt.com.
