Mitas Unveils New ‘Enduro Trail-XT+’ 80% Off-Road Adventure Tire
The brand's most aggressive off-road tire in their adventure line yet.
This fall, Mitas is launching what they are calling the most aggressive tire in their adventure range ― the Enduro Trail-XT+. It is the next generation in a long line of Mitas off-road adventure tires designed for riders who want to push the limits.
Classified as 80% off-road & 20% on-road, the new tire carries an M+S rating recommended for riders that like to tackle difficult off-road trails on their Adventure bike. Mitas has not specified what longevity can be expected from the Enduro Trail-XT+ but, in spite of its off-road focus, the company says the new tire offers good handling on high-speed motorways. Spanish FIM Enduro Team Honda rider Kirian Mirabet adds, “You don’t feel it’s flexing. You don’t feel like on the front wheel, when I brake, it’s risky. You feel always on your line. You feel safe.”
The rear has the same aggressive longitudinal scoop shaped block tread pattern as the well-known E-09 with a flat profile and an average rear lug depth of 13.2 mm. The front has the same pattern design as the E-13 with an impression lug depth of 12 mm and can be used as the front option on any ENDURO TRAIL set.
This newest Mitas tire will be released in two different versions: A standard version which uses a Heavy Duty compound and is designed to give the best all round performance. In turn, the Dakar version uses an Ultra Heavy Duty compound designed for maximum durability with up to 20% more mileage compared to the standard version. Moreover, Mitas says the Dakar is virtually puncture proof thanks to its reinforced carcass. For more information go to mitas-moto.com.
Update: Mitas has confirmed that the new Enduro Trail-XT+ will replace the current E-09 tire.

I hope Mitas gets their sizing sorted out . I bought a 110/100 for a smaller dirtbike. It measures 120 mm across, and it’s a huge tyre. Mitas have 120 sized tyres in their catalogue, so why make a 110 tyre 120mm across?? It fits my swing arm but there’s also a corresponding height increase too.
Oooooh, I’d hit that.
So let’s see some info details or demo on the so called puncher proof compounds in the rear or front Dakar version ! Lots of room for those dagger sharp pieces of granite to slide between!
Great news, I talked with the head of North America Mitas today and he just did a big multi day on the new tire….NOTHING BUT GREAT TO SAY ABOUT Them. Tread life will be LONG.
Can hardly wait to try those…..after my new ones wear out.
They look exactly like my Kenda Big Blocks, which I love off road. On road, especially wet sucks though. Hopefully these fill the void.
Anyone actually seen these for sale anywhere, yet? Mitas said Fall…
