Being 6’4 and 220 I really am comfortable on a big bike ..but I’m not all that interested in flogging around a 500lb bike out here in the Las Vegas Rockland . I like the CRF450L but I just don’t consider it a full on version for me and I’m not going back to single cylinder. I currently own a CB500X .. it really is a all around great bike. Built like a tank. I’ve had that thing on some trails that equaled my XR650L (I wore that thing out) I need a more substantial machine..something that can keep up with me going 90 down a rocky trail but also not brake my ass on the hiway . The Tenere 700 looks like that bike ..I miss the raw power of my XR (top end , carp punch) and my CB is short on clearance. . Can I borrow your Tenere for a month ??

Alternatively, the 501 Norden will be an excellent candidate for Adventure Touring.

I owned a T700 for a few weeks. I like the idea of the 790/890/Norden 901. But none of them compare with a 690/701 in my opinion. I don’t want an adventure tourer. I still want to ride off road.
