Triumph Releases New Street Scrambler ‘Sandstorm’ Edition
A new ultra-exclusive Street Scrambler edition is coming soon.
After receiving a major update back in 2019, Triumph is gracing the Street Scrambler with a minor refresh for model year 2022. Revisions include Euro 5 engine updates delivering lower emissions along with some minimal styling updates. Triumph states there has been no loss of performance due to the changes, with the 900cc liquid-cooled powerplant retaining all of its 64HP peak power and 59 FT-LB peak torque at a low 3,250rpm. Alongside this, Triumph is also adding the ‘Sandstorm’ variant — a new limited-edition Street Scrambler with dedicated livery and a host of premium accessories fitted as standard.
New Street Scrambler Sandstorm Edition
As with the 2022 Scrambler 1200, Triumph is adding a special edition model to the Scrambler family. Dubbed the Street Scrambler Sandstorm, the bike is said to celebrate the original scramblers that raced the California desert and the legendary Baja Peninsula in the 1960’s. The Sandstorm takes the updates of the Street Scrambler and adds a unique paint scheme along with custom styling and premium accessories.
The dedicated Sandstorm paint scheme incorporates Matte Storm Grey and Ironstone accents on the tank in a unique new tri-tone style, plus a Matte Storm Grey factory-fitted high-level front mudguard. Adding to the contemporary urban scrambler style, the Sandstorm limited edition features the premium Triumph accessory tail tidy as standard, incorporating a compact LED taillight and number plate light (market restrictions may apply), plus a heavy-duty aluminum sump guard, a stylish headlight grille with subtle Triumph branding and protective rubber knee pads on the tank. All of these are factory-fitted accessories that come as standard only on the Sandstorm limited edition.
Just 775 of the Street Scrambler Sandstorm limited edition will be produced worldwide. Adding to its exclusivity, each will come with a unique personalized certificate of authenticity stating the bike’s VIN.

Dress up that drab looking valve cover. 1960 thru 1970 Triumphs had beautiful looking engines. Triumph engines look like a lump.
