The 2018 Ultimate Adventure Holiday Giveaway has come to an end and a winner has been selected. Thank you to everyone who participated! We’d like to congratulate our winner, Zane Lavallee from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was excited to hear from us and was in disbelief he’d won the giveaway. “I tried to keep myself from getting too excited as I couldn’t believe it happened, I don’t remember how many times I read over that first email,” Zane said.

Zane is a carpenter who began riding dirt bikes when he was a kid, but became ill for awhile and had to give up sports completely. For years, he dreamed of getting back into motorcycling and going on adventures with his father who also rides. After getting his wife’s blessing and recently getting his motorcycle license, Zane has been obsessing over what adventure bike to purchase and all the different adventures he’d like to go on — that’s how he came across the ADV Pulse Ultimate Adventure Holiday Giveaway.

Once winter subsides, Zane plans on getting a smaller, more-manageable adventure bike to learn on, like the Honda CB500X, although the dream bike he eventually would like to get is the Africa Twin. He’d like to start with some shorter local trips with his dad and eventually take on the Continental Divide Trail once he gets more experience.
