Yamaha Launches Ultimate Rally-Raid Experience Aboard Your T7

A total immersive experience with Yamaha’s race team at the world’s top Rally Raids.

Published on 01.24.2023
Want to experience getting close to the action of a legendary Rally Raid with everything taken care of? For 2023 Yamaha is introducing the new “Ténéré Spirit Experience” in which Tenere 700 owners can live an unforgettable adventure immersed in the heart of some of the world’s top Rally Raids alongside the official Yamaha World Raid Team, headlined by elite riders Pol Tarres and Alessandro Botturi.

Described as the ‘Ultimate Rally Raid Experience’ by Yamaha, a total of 20 lucky participants will be transported to their chosen Rally Raid where they will follow both the actual route and a parallel route on their T7. Adding to the unique experience, Tenere Spirit riders will also live alongside the race team, sharing the bivouac with Pol Tarres and Alessandro Botturi at selected events  – and there will also be extra top- level guest riders joining various races.

Headed by former Enduro champion and Dakar Racing Team manager Marc Bourgeois through his company MBSM on behalf of Yamaha, the Ténéré Spirit Experience is open to Ténéré owners who want to get a real taste of Rally Raid and experience the beauty the landscapes provide but without the intense pressure of competition.

Everything Included From Start To Finish

According to Yamaha, the Ténéré Spirit Experience is a total 360-degree package that is designed to cover every aspect of the preparation, flights, bike transportation and participation in the customer’s chosen Rally Raid. Before the event, each rider can also choose to attend a Ténéré Experience Center if they want to hone their riding or navigation skills. Yamaha and MBSM will take care of everything else from start to finish – including daily pre-event briefings, logistics, technical assistance, GPS tracker fitment, breakfast, dinner and camping.

Customers will be riding their own Tenere 700, but they don’t need to worry about making modifications. MBSM technicians will thoroughly prepare each bike and equip it with special wheels and tires as well as navigation equipment prior to the ride – and in some cases the participant’s bike will also be fitted with an extra fuel tank for specific events. Your T7 will be completely taken care of with any needed repairs and maintenance during the rally by top race mechanics as well, ensuring your bike rides like new before each stage.

The 2023 Ténéré Spirit Experience includes four of the most famous Rally Raid events, starting with the Morocco Desert Challenge in April, followed by the Hellas Rally in May. After the summer break, the TSE and TWRT continue with Transanatolia in September and conclude with the Tunisia Desert Challenge in October.

No pricing details have been announced at this time. For more information on the Tenere Spirit Experience visit the official website.

  1. Do you know what would be even more cool? If Yamaha built a T9 (900cc) Tenere World Raid and sold it in the US. I’d spend my (admittedly limited) money on that! ✌️
