The highly-anticipated Norden 901 has finally arrived and for its introduction Husqvarna has joined forces with REV’IT!, Bell and SIDI to create a new technical apparel line that satisfies the demands of adventure riders both on and off-road. 

According to Husqvarna, every item is “made to a premium quality that lasts” and includes intelligent features to keep travelers warm, dry and safe year round. The Norden collection consists of the ‘Scalar’ jacket, pants and gloves made exclusively for Husqvarna by REV’IT!, as well as the MX-9 ADV MIPS helmet and Crossfire 3 SRS boots made in partnership with Bell and SIDI respectively. The choice of materials, colors and detailing are directly derived from the Norden 901 bike. 

Below is a quick overview of the new line, provided by Husqvarna.

Scalar WP Jacket & WP Pants

The Scalar WP Jacket and Pants are designed for all conditions, with abrasion and tear-resistant Cordura polyester rip-stop blend outwards; detachable, breathable, wind and waterproof Hydratex 3L membranes; and removable thermo linings (with the one from the jacket being wearable separately).

There are SEEFLEX™ CE level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors and a back protector insert in the jacket. The pants have SEEFLEX™ CE level 2 knee protectors and SEEFLEX™ CE level 1 hip protectors. Made exclusively for Husqvarna Motorcycles by REV’IT!.

Scalar Gloves

Made to be both breathable and comfortable for the Norden rider, the Scalar Gloves are constructed from 500D premium polyamide fabric and elastic mesh at the back of the hands with leather palms and fingers. There are protective TPR sliders on the balls of the hand and the knuckles. The fingertips are compatible with touch screen use. Like the Jacket and Pants in the Norden line, the Scalar Gloves are the result of a collaboration with REV’IT!.

MX-9 ADV MIPS Helmet

Packed with protective features, the MX-9 ADV MIPS is a premium adventure helmet designed for all conditions. Inspired by the colors and graphics of the Norden 901, its effective ventilation and Nutrafog II anti-fog lens combine for comfort and clear vision. The MX-9 ADV features Bell’s proprietary Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS®), which uses slip plane technology to disperse energy from rotational and angular impacts. The new helmet is made exclusively for Husqvarna Motorcycles by Bell.

Crossfire 3 SRS Boots

For day-long adventure touring you need boots that provide protection, comfort and support. The Crossfire 3 SRS Boots, made exclusively for Husqvarna Motorcycles by SIDI, are designed to excel in all these areas. The boots feature an exclusive, patented flex system with hyper extension block; replaceable shin plates; a robust, shock-absorbing and anatomically shaped heel protector; and a micro adjustable and replaceable buckle system.

The Norden apparel collection is expected to arrive at Husqvarna Motorcycle dealers in 2022. No official pricing has been announced yet.
