Mosko Moto Lauches Waterproof ‘Rak’ Pullover Jacket and Overpant
All-new technical shell expands Mosko's apparel line for off-road travelers.
Since introducing their first adventure suit last year, Mosko Moto has been championing an alternative way for adventure riders to gear up: a tiered outer layer system built on the principle of less is more.
Mosko Moto’s expanding line of technical garments continue that philosophy by pairing a minimalist design with premium materials, clean lines and a roomy fit. So what’s new? Enduro riders have been wearing separate armor underneath garments, rather than integrated into the suit, for ages. Simply put, Mosko is taking ‘enduro-style’ gear and making it more comfortable, versatile and waterproof for those traveling longer distances off-road.
The new Mosko Rak Pullover is the company’s latest exercise in this “less is more” approach to ADV gear. It’s a jacket that accomplishes Mosko’s mission with the least features possible. Less to break, less to go wrong, fewer places for water to get in. The result is a lighter, nimbler, and more breathable shell that can be easily stuffed away during hot weather and quickly thrown on when the weather changes for the worse.
The Rak jacket features a pullover anorak-style entry with quarter zip design, two hand pockets, one chest pocket, adjustable Velcro cuffs, and Cohaesive embedded cord-locks at the hem and collar to help seal out the weather.
Accompanying the Rack Pullover Jacket is the Rak Overpant. With the Rak Overpant, you can ride in your comfortable, breathable enduro pants, and still have total confidence when foul weather kicks in. Full-length side zips allow you to easily throw the Rak over tall moto boots, while double-layer reinforcements in the knees and seat add durability in high wear areas. Combine the Rak Overpant with Mosko’s recently released Woodsman enduro pant (or any comfortable trail pant) for a durable layering system in every kind of weather.
Watertight, full-length YKK Aquaguard Vislon zippers keep water out, while making the Rak super easy to get on over moto boots. There’s a single zippered cargo pocket on the thigh, to keep your necessities close at hand when you’re off the bike, and it uses belt loops to keep your pants up.
Both the Rak Pullover and Overpant are constructed with a durable 3-layer nylon eVent DV Expedition shell fabric for waterproof, breathable, windproof protection to keep you dry and comfortable during your rides. And for the ultimate in venting, just take them off, roll them up, and stash them away on the bike. Both pack down small and the jacket even features a lashing loop on the upper back so you can securely strap it externally to the bike or luggage when it’s not in use.
