Himalayan Base Camp Ladakh – Sep. 4-6, 2026

It's not just an adventure, it's a calling!

Published on 07.09.2026

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Basecamp is a three‑day, high‑altitude adventure festival held at Chuchot Ground in Leh, Ladakh (11,480 ft), September 4–6, 2026. Designed as a convergence of riders, mountaineers, overlanders, kayakers, climbers, hikers and outdoor explorers, Basecamp brings together multiple disciplines in one of the world’s most dramatic landscapes. Rather than a traditional motorcycle rally, the event is built as an immersive, multi‑sport gathering for those who see adventure as a way of life.

Across three days, Basecamp runs curated expeditions, skill‑driven sessions, competitive challenges and open‑terrain activations across motorcycling, 4WD overlanding, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, bouldering, hiking, paragliding and high‑altitude wellness. Signature experiences include the Navigation Challenge, which sends riders into Ladakh with only a map and instinct; the Monastery Ride, a route through unforgiving Himalayan terrain; whitewater sessions on the Indus and Zanskar rivers; world‑class bouldering problems at altitude; and 4WD off‑road recovery in the high desert.

Basecamp also features a series of masterclasses covering bush mechanics, off‑road recovery, overlanding fundamentals, photography, expedition cooking and more. Seven curated rides—including the Triple Pass Expedition (Khardung La, Wari La, Tanglang La)—offer participants a chance to explore Ladakh’s iconic passes and cultural landmarks. High‑altitude wellness programming includes breathwork, cold exposure, sunrise meditation and recovery sessions tailored to the elevation.

Evenings at Basecamp bring together music, Ladakhi cuisine, cultural experiences and shared community spaces, creating a festival atmosphere that blends adventure with connection. Optional extensions include the Moto Himalaya 2026 guided expedition for riders looking to continue their journey deeper into the region.
