New Video Series Inspires Adventure Riders to Explore Canada

FortNine Explore is a new YouTube video series focused on inspiring Adventure Riders to get out and explore Canada on two wheels. Since not everyone can take weeks or months off of work to go adventure riding, the Explore series aims to showcase just how much ground can be traveled by the average rider, and how many new places can be uncovered, even in a weekend.

Explore features FortNine writer Ryan Kluftinger, and follows his two- to four-day excursions onto Canadian backroads and trails on a Suzuki V-Strom 1000. Ryan grew up in the Rocky Mountains on Canada’s West coast, and has been riding dirt and dual purpose bikes since he was 11. Now, he aims to tackle as much of Canada as possible on short-distance adventure rides, covering a different small part of Canada’s huge surface in each episode.

For the first season, Ryan explores the province of Quebec. In six episodes, Ryan travels to the Saguenay fjord, the Eastern Townships, Gaspésie, Mont-Tremblant, Montreal, and Quebec City. Each episode not only features the backroads and trails each area offers, but also the food, sights and other activities available throughout the province.

The Explore series isn’t only meant to show adventure riders what’s out there but is also aimed at enabling people to get out and discover the incredible rides Canada offers. Viewers can follow the trip just as it was done on the show, or use the maps and files as rough guides, discovering their own paths and detours along the way.
