Giant Loop vs. Wolfman Luggage 60L Tail Bag Jiggle Test

A tail bag that doesn't move around is an asset in difficult off-road terrain.

Published on 12.31.2014

In a recent test we compared two of the top off-road-oriented 60-liter tail bags, the Giant Loop Great Basin Saddlebag and the Wolfman Luggage Boulder Beta Bag. one of the top concerns for serious off-road riders is the amount of movement that occurs with a fully-loaded bag. Any loose gear can cause the bike to handle poorly and throw off a rider’s balance during active off-road riding.

We filled the Giant Loop and Wolfman bags with 31 pounds (14.1 kg) of camping gear each and set off to test them over some very harsh off-road terrain. We rode through rocks, whoops, single track and steep descents to get a feel for which of the two bags was most solid.

Check out this video to see some of the action from our test sessions and decide for yourself which bag jiggles less. You can check out the full review of the Wolfman vs. Giant Loop bag test here.
