Moto Morini’s 450cc Twin Adventure Bike Lands in the U.S.

Production changes and a new name marks debut of the brand’s latest US arrival.

Published on 01.06.2026

Moto Morini’s long‑anticipated 450cc adventure twin has officially arrived in the United States, marking the brand’s full entry into the competitive 400cc-500cc ADV segment. Now branded as the Vettore 450 for the American market, the model becomes the most dirt‑oriented machine in Moto Morini’s ADV lineup, joining the X‑Cape 700 and flagship X‑Cape 1200.

Originally unveiled at EICMA as the Alltrhike, the production Vettore 450 arrives with several refinements. Updates include a large radiator vent behind the shrouds, revised exhaust routing that exits upward near the linkage, and compact rectangular projector headlights that replace the original cylindrical design. The final bodywork looks slimmer with a somewhat more enduro-like design, utilizing a headlight mask, narrower tank and high fender that distinguish it from the more road‑oriented X‑Cape models.

The Vettore 450 reportedly uses the same 449cc parallel‑twin engine found in the CFMoto Ibex 450, including its 270‑degree crank design that gives it a V‑twin‑like exhaust note. Power output is listed at 44.8 horsepower and 32.5 ft‑lbs of torque. Its frame and subframe architecture appear nearly identical as well to the Ibex, with shared castings and mounting points visible across both platforms. Moto Morini reports a modest top speed of 93 mph, which seems consistent with mid‑range‑focused tuning and off‑road‑oriented gearing.

Suspension duties are handled by KYB with a fully-adjustable 41mm inverted fork, while the rear monoshock offers preload and rebound adjustment. Stopping power comes from a single 320mm front disc with a 4‑piston radial-mounted caliper and a 255mm single-piston rear disc. ABS is provided by Bosch, which is switchable on/off at the rear only. Travel is listed at 8.2 inches up front and 7.5 inches in the rear, significantly more than the X‑Cape 700. Combined with 21/18 tubeless cross‑spoke wheels, the chassis is clearly designed to be more off-road capable than the X-Cape line.

Additional equipment includes a 6‑inch color TFT display with navigation functions, USB and USB‑C ports, an adjustable windscreen, and a standard center stand. Moto Morini backs the bike with a 3‑year warranty, and U.S. pricing is set at $6,499, positioning it as one of the most affordable twin‑cylinder adventure bikes on the market.

For the U.S. launch, Moto Morini lists the Vettore 450 in a single color scheme—white with black and red accents. The bike also comes equipped with a 4.8-gallon fuel tank, rear tail rack, hand guards, and a light skid plate, reducing the need for immediate aftermarket upgrades. A 33.1” seat height should make it approachable for a wide range of riders, while option Tall and Low seat options will also be available as an accessory. The Vettore 450’s U.S. debut marks a significant step for Moto Morini as it broadens its ADV lineup and enters a segment that has grown dramatically in the past two years. With a claimed dry weight of 419 pounds, the Vettore 450 slots into the middle of the lightweight‑ADV class. Its arrival adds another option to a segment that now includes the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Kawasaki KLE500, Honda NX500, KTM 390 Adventure R, CFMoto Ibex 450, BMW F 450 GS, and others rumored to be on the way.
