KTM 2016 Models and Pricing for USA Dual Sport Motorcycles

See what's new for 2016 KTM Dual Sport and Adventure Touring Motorcycles.

It’s hard to believe 2015 is nearly over and it’s already time to see what is in store for a new year in motorcycling. KTM recently confirmed their Dual Sport and Adventure Touring model lineup, along with USA pricing for 2016. There are just a few changes for 2016 in the Adventure Touring range but some exciting new updates have occurred in the smaller Dual Sport models. Here is the complete list of KTM 2016 models in the Adventure Touring and Dual Sport range, including MSRP pricing and any new features or changes that have occurred.

2016 KTM 350 EXC-F – $10,199 MSRP

The 350 EXC-F is the little brother to the 500 EXC but offers even more nimble handling and improved fuel efficiency. The 350 craves the tightest trails and harshest off-road conditions but it is street legal, so you can still take it on the road to link up trails. For 2016, a new front axle reduces weight and provides better front-end feel, and the axle offset has been adjusted to increase stability. The KTM 350 EXC-F also gets new fork protectors that are easier to clean and now comes with a skid plate standard. the 350 EXC-F also gets a new orange anodized rear sprocket, orange front mask and new graphic treatments on the seat cover and upper forks. With all the new changes comes a small price increase of $200 for 2016.

2016 KTM 500 EXC

The KTM 500 EXC has been the Street-Legal Enduro to beat ever since it was introduce in 2012. It’s essentially the same bike as the 350 EXC-F but with an even more powerful motor. And like the 350 EXC-F, it’s a no compromise off-road bike that just happens to be street legal, so you can ride straight from your house to the trails. With its powerful engine, lightweight chassis and race-proven suspension, it’s capable of going virtually anywhere you point it. For 2016, the KTM 500 EXC gets the same updates listed above for the 350 EXC-F and it also comes with a small price increase of $200.

KTM is offering a completely new street-legal Enduro model for 2016 — the 500 EXC Six Days Edition. The exclusive Six Days graphics pay tribute to one of the most important off-road races in the world. The Six Days model improves on the standard 500 EXC by adding performance parts and top-of-the-line components from KTM’s PowerParts Catalog. Upgraded components include a WP 4CS closed-cartridge fork, Camel seat for improved long-distance comfort, CNC machined triple clamps, Supersprox 2-Piece rear sprocket, high-performance brake discs, more efficient radiator fans, a front axle puller and additional protection for the front disc and rear brake pedal. The 2016 KTM 500 EXC Six Days Edition will be offered in limited quantities.

The 690 Enduro R is a popular choice for those looking for a light-weight off-road-focused dual sport motorcycle with the capability to travel long distances. Just add a windscreen, large capacity tank and luggage, and you are ready for a round the world tour with the ability to take on nearly any terrain. No changes to the model have been announced by KTM for 2016 other than a price increase of $300.

2016 KTM 1190 Adventure Orange - KTM 2016 Models

The KTM 1190 Adventure is one of the sportiest and advanced Adventure Bikes on the market with 150 horsepower, electronically adjustable suspension and lean-sensitive ABS. The 1190 Adventure returns to KTM’s 2016 lineup without change and will be offered in both orange and grey options.

The 1190 Adventure R gets the same advanced ABS and Traction Control system as the standard model, but offers more features for off-road riders. Larger wheels, off-road tires, crash protection and a longer-travel suspension make the 1190 Adventure R one of the most capable big-bore adventure bikes in the dirt. The 1190 Adventure R will return to KTMs lineup in 2016 without change in the same white, black, orange color scheme.

The 1290 Super Adventure is KTM’s flagship Adventure Bike model with the same electronics package as the 1190 Adventure, plus even more advanced features like hill hold control, a slipper clutch, cruise control, standard heated grips and LED cornering lights. More Horsepower along with improved comfort and fuel range help make the 1290 Super Adventure one of the plushest and safest touring bikes on the market. Despite all the luxuries, the Super Adventure hasn’t forgotten its off-road roots. The 1290 Super Adventure returns without change in 2016.
