Overland Expo EAST – Oct. 7-9, 2016

A new great addition to the Overland Expo held in the heart of Appalachia.

Published on 06.28.2016

High demand after several successful years of Overland Expo in Arizona culminated in a new addition to this great event: the Overland Expo EAST. Like the original Overland Expo, Overland Expo EAST is an all-outdoor venue with beautiful surroundings and the top quality community experience. The Overland Expo EAST promises a great experience, with the same great blend of fun, professional trade show and educational activities that have made Overland Expo WEST so famous.

Overland Expo is one of the world’s largest events for do-it-yourself Adventure Travel enthusiasts. This international event’s mission is to educate and inspire people to get out and explore the world by bike and vehicle.

This year’s Overland Expo EAST will be hosted on the world-famous grounds of the 8,000-acre Biltmore Estate. The organizers have reserved a private enclave along the French Broad river, with expansive fields for vendors, classes, and on-site camping, and access to the existing superb Land Rover Experience trails for four-wheel-drive and motorcycle training.

As a bonus, attendees will be able to tour the Biltmore House and enjoy adjoining estate facilities such as half a dozen top-quality restaurants, a winery, farm facilities, miles of biking and hiking trails, and choose from add-on activity packages such as clay pigeon shooting, flyfishing, and boating.

  1. No, attendees aren’t “able” to tour the Biltmore Estate, they are FORCED to pay $80 per person for the tour. The Biltmore Estate is extorting funds from attendees and causing them to either forfeit their money (don’t take a tour that they had no choice in paying for) or loose time better spent on classes, demonstrations, group rides, socializing or other activities of their CHOICE. Overland needs to find a different venue.
