Dakar Brings Back ‘Race To Win’ Challenge for 2025
Predict Dakar’s winners and win big yourself.
With the world’s most grueling rally fast-approaching, Dakar organizers have announced the return of their ‘Race to Win’ challenge for its second consecutive year. Created for those who will follow the upcoming edition, the contest has a big reward in store for anybody who can predict who will win the race.
Want to get in the game? Take your place on the starting line, create your new team, climb the overall rankings and prove your knowledge of the Dakar. Here is how it works according to ASO:
1. Build your team by selecting one vehicle from each of the six classes – Rally GP, Rally 2, Ultimate, Challenger, SSV, Trucks.
2. Any time one of your vehicles completes a stage, they’ll earn 20 points for your team. And if they finish in the top 10, you’ll earn even more.
Stage rank | Points |
1st | 200 |
2nd | 150 |
3rd | 120 |
4th | 100 |
5th | 90 |
6th | 80 |
7th | 70 |
8th | 65 |
9th | 60 |
10th | 55 |
Stage completed | 20 |
3. You can nominate one vehicle as your ‘Stage Winner Bonus’ for each stage – any points the driver earns will double. There are also daily bonus points up for grabs when you take the Aramco Booster quiz.
For the 48 hours special stage, which takes place over 2 days, the points for stage position will be doubled (example: 1st place: 400 points instead of 200 points on a classic stage).
The Big Prize
Dakar organizers have put together several prizes so there are plenty of chances to be rewarded. The overall winner of the contest will get the Grand prize consisting of a VIP all-expenses paid trip for two to experience Dakar 2026 in person.
Those who finish 2nd to 10th will receive Dakar goodies valued at €1000. Moreover, throughout the competition there will be daily drops where all stage winners will receive discount vouchers on official Dakar merchandise.
