Enduristan recently released an innovative new luggage system, called the Monsoon Evo panniers, to replace their Monsoon 3 bags in the lineup. These hard-mounted, quick-release soft bags don’t require external backing plates, which helps streamline the design and reduce overall weight.

Engineered for the harsh conditions of adventure riding, the Enduristan Monsoon Evo Panniers offer a combination of low weight, 100% waterproof protection (without the use of a heavy separate dry bag), modular expansion, and a robust mounting mechanism.

The Monsoon Evo’s unique mounting system features top cam-buckle straps and lower hard brackets that snap into place on standard 18” tube-style pannier racks. The lower mounting brackets are stoutly built with fiber-reinforced composite material and include redundant hooks that can be relied upon in a situation where the mounting system has been damaged in a fall. Safety pins secure the mounts in place and there’s no use of any heavy backing plates.

The bags themselves are made with a rugged, abrasion-resistant, three-layer fabric, and utilize a hard TPU plastic protector around the bottom edge. A roll-top closure ensures the Monsoon Evo bags keep out dust and water, while offering quick access to your personal items. The bags can also be removed quickly from the racks, while a soft-grip ergonomic handle makes transporting them into a hotel or tent more convenient.

The Monsoon Evo is offered in two sizes: small (24 liters) and large (34 liters). At only 5.6 pounds (2.55 kg) for the small, and 6.1 pounds (2.75 kg) for the large size, the Monsoon Evo bags are lightweight, yet offer ample storage for longer adventures. And if more space is needed, the Monsoons can be easily expanded with external mounting points for auxiliary bags and fuel bottles.

Security on adventure rides is another important feature considered by Enduristan, and the Monsoon Evo panniers can be locked to the motorcycle by replacing the safety pins with a padlock. The contents of the soft panniers can be secured as well using a Steel Core strap around the outside. 

Pricing for the new Monsoon EVO luggage system is $419.99 for the Small 24-liter bags and $449.99 for the Large 34-liter bags.
