Watch Lyndon Poskitt's dramatic run to the podium in the 2015 BAJA RALLY.
BAJA RALLY and Adventure Spec have announced the world-wide release of the documentary film “Blazin Through Baja” now available online for FREE after having been originally released on Vimeo OnDemand at the beginning of the year. The 50 minute feature length film features Internet sensation and rally racer Lyndon Poskitt (UK) and his dramatic journey towards his eventual 2nd place finish in the 2015 BAJA RALLY.
The BAJA RALLY is the largest “navigation-based” rally race in North America. Modeled after the famous Dakar Rally and FIM World Championships, the race is a 6-day eco-adventure challenge & multi-cultural immersion for riders, crews and hosts alike.
For the past 2 years, Poskitt, along with UK-based Adventure Spec, co-produced the popular web-based TV series “Races to Places”, in which Poskitt showcases his multi-year global adventure circumnavigating the globe on his KTM 690 Rally Bike and racing in a variety of competitive rallies.
First and foremost, “Blazin Through Baja” is a film about getting to Baja, Mexico and one racer’s struggle to overcome massive obstacles and challenges just to bring himself and teammate Yuji Shinohara (JPN) to the starting line. Secondly, the film showcases Lyndon Poskitt’s remarkable run to a close second place behind 2015 BAJA RALLY Champion Steve Hengeveld.
“Lyndon and Adventure Spec have produced an epic film that captures the essence of our Baja adventure and the dramatic buildup to his podium finish”, explains BAJA RALLY Executive VP Fred Sobke, Jr. “We know that all motorcycle riders and Baja enthusiasts will enjoy this documentary.”
