Mosko Moto Debuts All-New Zipperless, Waterproof ‘Hood Tail Bag’
From tank to tail, Mosko reimagines easy-access storage for the back of your bike.

Mosko Moto has expanded their luggage lineup with the launch of the all-new Hood Tail Bag, a rugged storage solution inspired by their popular Hood Tank Bag but ‘reimagined’ for tail rack mounting. This latest addition keeps the tough, 100% waterproof seam-welded 840D TPU construction of its tank bag cousin, while leveling up with more space, enhanced internal organization, and a secure mounting system for the back of your bike.

One of the Hood Tail’s standout features is its zipperless, glove-friendly access. Like its tank bag counterpart, the zipperless design allows for effortless opening via two buckles and a flip of the lid without the hassle of de-kitting or unpacking. “Just unclip the buckles, flip the lid, and you’re in,” explains Mosko. For additional security, the lid includes a lock bar compatible with the Compact ADV Lock, keeping valuables secure. Need to take the bag with you? Simply release the four gate keeper camlock buckles to remove it and carry it to the tent or motel with the attached carry handle.

Designed to withstand the harshest conditions, the 24-liter Hood Tail Bag also boasts a waterproof outer clamshell that keeps dust, mud, and moisture at bay while seamlessly integrating with its welded-seam base, creating a completely sealed weatherproof luggage solution. The top lid incorporates a Hypalon MOLLE panel, allowing riders to attach accessories such as MOLLE pouches or a first aid kit for quick access. For those traveling with passengers, a removable matrix foam lumbar support pad adds comfort but can be detached when not needed. Plus, a 25mm helmet hook provides an easy stowage option when off the bike.

The Hood Tail Bag’s main compartment is designed to accommodate bulky items like helmets, jackets, or camping essentials. A fleece-lined internal organizer, attached via Velcro panels, allows riders to customize storage dividers to suit their needs—perfect for neatly packing cooking gear, food, water bottles, and other essentials. A zippered stretch Lycra dust cover provides an additional layer of protection when the Hood is open.

As an extra storage option, there is a zippered document pocket inside the lid — ideal for keeping maps or bike paperwork safe and dry. A built-in charging cable pass-through also ensures easy access to on-bike power sources, making it convenient to charge devices on the go.
Engineered for universal compatibility, the Hood Tail Bag features a compression-molded ballistic foam base that mounts securely to rear ADV luggage racks. A simple webbing sleeve slides over the end of the rack, with 25mm gate keeper camlock buckles ensuring a stable, secure fit.

$316… you can pick up “zipperless, waterproof” pelican cases for $40 and bolt it onto whatever you want lol. This thing looks like a glorified lunch box.
And a ziplock bag is only 2 cents plus ‘zipperless, waterproof”. Even better by your logic. SMH.
