Touratech Launches New Aventuro Carbon 2 Dual Sport Helmet
Touratech's Carbon ADV Helmet gets better aerodynamics, venting and more!
Touratech has announced the release of the next gen Aventuro Dual Sport Helmet, the Aventuro Carbon 2. Highlighted updates include a boost in airflow, upgraded synthetic leather materials for longer life, glove-friendly vent controls, more versatile and aerodynamic peak, a new shell size and more.

Wearing a helmet can be sweaty business, which is why Touratech boosted the airflow in this helmet 40% by increasing the size and number of vents. The vent controls are more glove-friendly and the helmet liner has been improved to deliver a higher volume of air around the head to keep riders cool and comfortable during active riding and in warm weather.
The Aventuro 2 has a more streamlined shape with new ports that manage the airflow on the peak to reduce turbulence. It also has larger cutouts that allow wind to travel underneath the peak and exit cleanly to the rear, minimizing drag and reducing noise. The result is reduced neck fatigue and increased comfort on even the longest adventures.

The peak is now adjustable to the rider’s preference for blocking the sun, protecting from brushy trails and hiding from pesky precipitation. Synthetic leather has been added to the neck roll to improve durability.

Included in the package is a Pin-Lock visor complete with the breathable insert to keep your vision clear on cold and wet days on the road. The Aventuro Carbon 2 is available in 7 sizes XS-XXXL and comes in 3 colors (Core, Companero and Sport) MSRP $599-$649.

You might want to add a few important facts as to WHY exactly they (had to) make a new version: the predecessor was just a repainted NEXX X.D1; they effectively charged around 100€ exta just for the Touratech paint job. That helmet scored SO bad in a crash test (published in several German Motorcycle Magazines) that it was not even given a score.
Thus, over the last half year, the X.D1 was sold off for ridicolous prices between 150-200 € (Southern Germany/Northern Switzerland Area).
Now NEXX is back with a new On/Off road helmet, the “X.WED2”. It Costs around 350€… Guess what: Yes of course Touratech asks another 100€ for their Paint job. No other changes 😀
