Triumph Shows Motocross Bike To Public & Confirms Full Reveal Date

The new 250cc motocrosser makes a big entrance at the SuperMotocross Final.

Published on 09.25.2023

After a slow drip of teasers that included a sneak peek clip of the full bike, Triumph’s new 250cc motocross machine was revealed in public for the first time over the weekend. The live debut occurred at the SuperMotocross World Championship Final, where spectators witnessed two new Triumph motocross bikes enter the arena to a blaze of pyrotechnics.

Hosted at the LA Memorial Coliseum, the two machines were ridden on the final’s track by Jeff ‘Six-Time’ Stanton, who won his last Championship at the Coliseum and manages Triumph’s Adventure Experience in Michigan. Stanton was joined by the GOAT, Ricky Carmichael, who has been closely involved in the development of the new enduro platform from the beginning.

Ripping through jumps and whoops, Ricky’s bike was draped with unique graphics and featured some aftermarket componentry while Jeff joined him on the track with a production-specification model. “The Coliseum is a special place for me, and to be back here on the Triumph is an absolute honor for me,” said Jeff. “The new graphics look like nothing else in the paddock and give the bike a really sharp and distinctive new look that I think the fans are going to love.”

Besides giving spectators a taste of the bike’s performance, the date for the full reveal of the new bike was announced as November 28th 2023 on giant screens around the stadium. The big reveal will be close to the bike’s maiden race which has been scheduled for January 6th at the 2024 Anaheim 1 Supercross.

As one of the main forces behind the project, Ricky is proud of the new machine. “I’m so happy to finally show the fans what we’ve been working on for the past 4 years,” said Ricky. “The bike feels great, it looks great, and it’s fast. I’m really pleased with what we’ve delivered and I can’t wait until we can share the final details on November 28th.”
