WAW Is Back! KTM Will Reward You For Covering 1,000 Km On Any Bike

Get prizes and be featured by KTM simply for riding.

Published on 04.08.2022

After a successful run last year, KTM is once again calling all adventure riders to take on the “World Adventure Week” challenge, no matter what motorcycle they ride. During this week, the Orange brand will reward you just for getting on your bike and exploring your favorite tracks and trails. The main challenge? Complete 1,000 km (621 miles) or more in seven days.

Running from July 4-10, the World Adventure Week is the perfect chance to go out and rack up some good miles on your motorcycle. Doesn’t matter where or what bike you do it on, everyone is welcome. The most adventurous riders will be rewarded with daily and weekly prizes and the chance to be featured on the official ‘World Adventure Week’ page as well as KTM’s global social media channels.

There will be different challenges to complete on each of the seven days, with all riders clocking 1,000 km or more in total receiving a personalized award. KTM hasn’t released the new daily challenges yet but some examples from last year’s WAW entailed riding 390 km in one go, riding through 890 meters of elevation, completing a ride with your buddies, to name a few.

The goal of WAW is to strengthen the growing Adventure community and bring together riders who share the passion for Adventure motorcycling. To enter, you simply need to download the RISER app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and start recording your rides.

More details on prizes and the specific challenges will be released in the coming weeks. Check out more info on this fun challenge at theworldadventureweek.com

Great to know that my English is obviously better thatn that of some folks with names indicating that they are native speakers. ” Complete 1000km or more in seven days…” means obviously you got a week to ride 1000km. 🙂
So as long as it`s not pathless terrain no real problem at all. Except if you can`t take vacation in that specific eeek of July 4-10. My summer vacation is this year a month later.

That’s less than a 100 miles a day I cover more than that going to and from work but not much of an adventure

Done 1400 miles in 44 hours on a KTM 1190 ADVR running 50/50s. And I’m 60. So yeah, just focus and have fun.
