10 Adventure Touring Stocking Stuffers Under $60
Affordable holiday gifts the adventure rider on your list will be thrilled about.
It’s a challenge to shop for adventure riders. Adventure Touring bikes are expensive and hard to gift wrap, gear is a personal choice and usually has to be tried on for fit. Many tools and accessories are bike/model/year specific and are difficult to get the right fitment. But don’t settle for a gift card just yet. Below are 10 affordable gifts almost any adventure or dual sport rider will appreciate, and most will fit in a stocking.
1. Ram Mounts Tough Claw X-Grip Mount – $54.49
A sturdy mount for your phone/phablet that you can quickly move from bike-to-bike? What’s not to love? The Tough Claw base has rubberized jaws that wrap around bars up to 1.5 inches in diameter so they’ll work with fat bars. The X-Grip Mount has an easily adjustable four-leg design that clamps your device firmly and allows you to rotate it 360 degrees to find the perfect viewing angle. The X-Grip comes in small and large sizes, depending on what device you want to mount. It also includes a tether for extra safety in rough conditions.

2. Stash Box Lockable License Plate Storage – $21.99
If you’ve ever had to dump all the gear strapped to your bike to access your registration and insurance documents under the seat, you’ll immediately appreciate the genius of this product. The Stash Box is a small, lockable, weatherproof, inconspicuous safe designed to store documents or other small items. It hides behind your license plate, remains easily accessible and doesn’t alter your bike’s design in any way.

3. Roko Goggle Quick Straps – $19.95
It’s the little things that make trail riding more fun, like being able to quickly remove or replace goggles with one hand instead of having to stop and pull them off with both. Roko’s Goggle Quick Straps are a simple, ingenious solution to the goggle conundrum. Attach the tabs to your helmet, and the hooks to your goggles, and you can quickly and easily remove them in seconds, on the go. Even better, when you aren’t using your goggles, you can flip them over the back of your helmet and secure them there until you are ready to use them again.

4. Moto-Skiveez Adventure Skiveez – $59.95
Almost $60 seems like a lot to pay for a pair of underwear. But check the details and you’ll quickly see that Moto-Skiveez are not standard underwear. From the base-layer that wicks moisture, to the mesh fabric that enhances ventilation, to the pad made out of malinga cloth and multi-density foam, to the anti-microbial silver ion covering that helps keep them from smelling, these shorts use high-tech solutions that keep you comfortable and in the saddle longer. Moto-Skiveez come in different styles to suit the type of riding you do. The Adventure Skiveez are specifically designed for the upright riding position of Adventure Touring Bikes where your feet are directly below the seat.

5. Rok Straps Adjustable Straps – $14.99
Seasoned adventure riders know that using bungee cords to secure a load on your bike is asking for trouble. They aren’t stable or strong enough, and it always seems like they’re either too long or too short. Rok Straps address all these issues. They’re elasticized so they stretch to fit the load, they’re flat to minimize pressure on the load, and they can be cinched down tightly so whatever you’re carrying stays put. Just thread them through a connection point on your bike with the built in web, connect the quick-release buckle, tighten and you’re good to go.

You can get the same tool tube at AgriSupply for $3.99. Used it for tire tools. Etc. on the TAT last year.
I’ve seen those but they don’t come with the mounting hardware for the non-crafty folks lol.
