5 Stories of Adventure in the Land of the Lemurs
Tales of exotic wildlife and unique cultural experiences touring Madagascar.
3. Madagascar Motorcycle Tour
World traveller Jeremy Bullard decided to go to Madagascar after he read Hilary Bradt’s guidebook where she writes, “A motorbike is perhaps the very best way of getting around.” This intrigued him enough to head to Madagascar where he rents a “fairly knackered” 1986 Honda XL650.
With bad brakes, welded gear lever and zip-tied kickstarter, Jeremy sets off to tour the amazing roads of Madagascar. He travels around the North West area, including Nosy Bé. Along the way he visits the Isalo and Ankarafantsika National Parks where he sees the several species of lemurs.
Bullard describes Madagascar as different than any place he’s ever traveled. He writes, “Everyone I met was incredibly warm, helpful and friendly. They waved and smiled back more than in any other country I have visited.” Check out the full story of his adventure in this Rider Magazine article

Thanks for promoting my video and sharing the adventure with the world. Madagascar is one of the most fascinating countries I have had the privilege to ride through.
Cheers,
