Long-Awaited Motonomad Movie Sequel Ready to Launch!

A 10,000 km adventure motorcycling odyssey from Kazakhstan to Mongolia.

Published on 04.20.2016

Save the date! Motology Films will be launching the long-awaited sequel to Motonomad, Motonomad II – Riders of the Steppe, on April 27, 2016 via DVD and digital download. An exclusive Cinema showing will also be held in Sydney, Australia to mark the official movie release.

As in the first installment, Adam Riemann and his mates strap all they need to their KTM 500XECs on the 10,000 km unassisted trip, music to the ears of the purists. As the teaser trailer shows, the surreal Central Asian steppe makes for a stunning backdrop against which Riemann showcases his impressive cinematic talents. Remarkably, all the filming was done with the gear strapped to their bikes.

Motonomad II

The KTM 500EXCs more than proved their resilience in the traverse of Central Asia, including a dust-blown crossing of the Gobi desert, a dunking in a flooded river and having to run on 80 octane fuel.

Their journey is a true testament to living on a motorcycle, and a cultural insight into one of the greatest empires in the history of the world, the reign of Genghis Khan’s Mongolian Horde. Motonomad II is more than a motorcycle journey, it’s a life adventure. “My philosophy is to represent every rider who’s ever packed their life onto a motorcycle and ventured off into the big bad world … unassisted” says Riemann.
