The 2020 Ultimate Adventure Giveaway has come to an end and a winner has been selected! Thank you to everyone who participated. We’d like to congratulate our winner, Michael Zanon from Salem, Oregon. When he received the news he won the giveaway, Mike had a hard time believing it. “Honestly, I was a bit skeptical. Even though I remember entering the ADV Pulse sweepstakes, I’ve never won anything so I couldn’t believe it at first..Incredible!” Mike said.

Mike is the VP of sales for a technology solutions company that provides services to Justice and Public Safety agencies. He recently got back into motorcycles after a long hiatus and he currently owns a 2013 BMW R1200GS Adventure – 90th Anniversary Edition. Short-term he’s looking to ride the Oregon BDR and then branch out to the Colorado BDR, and perhaps one day he’d like to ride Patagonia in South America. “We can dream can’t we?,” says Mike.

As a fairly-new off-road rider, one of Mike’s goals is to improve his skills in the dirt. “Most of my off-road skills are self taught and I still have a LOT to learn.” He’s been a regular reader of ADV Pulse for some time now and has entered several of our past annual sweepstakes in hopes of winning.
